Our team ‘Entertainment’, was gathered up in Jeon-buk University. The source of the naming came after the entertainment agency. I am Jin-seong Moon, and was a leader of ‘Entertainment’ in the year of 2015.

I love to listen and sing songs during middle and high school years. I always dreamed about myself singing on the stage. So when I started to attend the university, I joined a club that allows members to have many stage of concerts. That was the time I started to do music.

We are just ordinary university students, not professional musicians. Of course we do music with full passion, but we do not have any visible goals. What we do is to sing on the stage for enjoyment. However, we put best effort for improvement to make high-quality stage for public audience. Well, if we mention about our final goal, we want to meet good people and make beautiful memory through our club activities during our university years. I don’t know about other members’ opinion for this, but it is my goal in this club. 

For the color of our club’s music, we mainly focus on doing ballad and R&B music that public audience is familiar of. Well, to be honest, we just sing trendy songs or songs we like to sing. That’s how it worked. However, we are always open to the opportunity to sing various genres. For our latest concert, one friend actually tried to play accompaniment in the concert. I personally loved it, because my personal taste is actually different from what we do in the club. I rather like acoustic and classic music than ballad and R&B genres. I, however, know that acoustic and classic music are not fit for big concert or stages. So I just show my own music color through personal busking concert.

The song named [Departure] by ‘Noul’ was the most sang song in the year of 2012. I was only 21 years old and was very young back then. At that time, all of big seniors of the club member stopped music activities. We, junior members, used to follow them, and all got confused when it happened. In that difficult time, [Departure] became a light for us. Junior members did not rely on the senior members and independently sang this song. I believe it really meant a lot for all of our members.

It was long ago, but I remember the subscription concert of our club in 2011. It was 3rd subscription concert that we firstly borrowed the indoor hall, and I was like a trainee. There was a high wall for me as a freshman, but I really wanted to be on the stage. So I prepared to sing [Dong Kyung Girl] with some sense of entertainment. Me and two friends wore funny pants, held brooms instead of guitars, and set up chairs instead of drums for our stage. Our senior members loved it and let us be on the stage. The audience also loved it too. That was the greatest moment that I could have in my early 20s. We also showed gag scene for the talent show. It also gained huge response from audience, and I became a hero of that concert. I am a bit embarrassed to say it. Haha. I think that day made me to love the club, become a leader of the club, and to continue to be active in the club.

I really love ‘Guckkasten’ which a legendary musician ‘Hyun-woo Ha’ is the member of. Not only liking them, I think they are the best singer in Korea. They have wide range, clean and high pitched tone; they are my role model. To tell you the truth, I dreamed myself to be a member of rock band. My blood boiled whenever I listen to YB and Guckkasten’s music. I am now joined in a club mainly based on vocal, but the rock spirit still is remaining in my heart. There were many opinions about Guckkasten’s music in the club, because their music is a bit hard to understand. I wish that many of audience can find the goodness in Guckkasten and love them. 

I usually listen to rock genre music. I especially love ‘YB’, ‘Guckkasten’, and ‘Gi-ha Jang and faces’. If I pick my favorite music, I would pick ‘Vitrial’ of Guckkasten. The song contains popular sense that public is familiar of, so anyone can listen it easily. The lyric may be hard to understand, but the sound and vocal is very good. I would like you to listen it.

Recently, our club gained famed through SNS, and many people start to recognize us. I was so glad for it since I was long working in the club. We would continuously play good music through many concerts and busking. Plus, more SNS advertisements. Please keep eyes on us, and listen to our music.

I became 4th year of the school, which means it’s almost time for me to leave the school. I may not be able to spend time in the club by preparing my future after graduation, but I will still remember the club as I spent most of my university years in ‘Entertainment’. I like to say that I love you and thank you. After 2 years, it will be 10th anniversary of the club. I hope it will continue its activities longer.
